our difference
1
Specialist injury law
An Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law or a Senior Lawyer will handle your matter from start to finish.
Not a Junior Lawyer or Paralegal.
2
small caseload. focused representation
We strictly focus on road accidents and work injury claims, and to give your matter the specialist care it deserves, we ensure our caseload is kept in check to avoid a high volume caseload.
3
located in the redlands
We are actually located in the Redlands unlike many firms who advertise heavily in the Redlands but only have a "serviced office" or no formal office presence at all in the Redlands.
OUR SERVICES
road accidents
We cover injury claims arising from all types of road incidents, such as car accidents, motorcycle and scooter crashes, pedestrian impacts, and dependency claims where a dependant/s has lost financial support due to a road fatality.
work injuries
Should you suffer an injury or illness arising out of your employment, you may be entitled to compensation whether the injury or illness occurs on-site or if off-site while performing work duties or whilst exposed to hazards over time.
tpd claims
Also, if you are unable to work as a result of an accident or medical condition, you may be able to make a claim based on total and permanent disablement (TPD) on your insurance policy attached to your super fund.
AND REMEMBER - time limits apply!
Time Limits apply when making a personal injuries claim. Seek legal advice early to protect your entitlements.

Our fee structure
The Initial Consultation is Free without Obligation
No-win, no-fee (conditions apply)
- Contact us to discuss
Task based Fee Structure instead of an hourly rate
- Many injury law firms charge an hourly rate which means the longer the task takes the more you pay
- At Redlands Injury Law, our fees are charged on a "task based" scale. This approach means that you pay for the actual tasks performed and not the number of hours someone spends on it.
- Additionally, having lower overheads means we offer much more competitive fees than other comparative law firms
Fee Cap Protection
- By Law, we can only charge for the work we perform in accordance with our Cost Agreement. If, however, the total fees exceed a stipulated threshold ('fee cap') then our fees must be reduced to that fee cap.
- Section 347 of the Legal Profession Act (Qld) requires law firms who practice in personal injuries claims and who offer "no-win, no fee", must restrict their maximum fee to 50% of the 'Net Settlement Amount' meaning the client will receive the balance. This is commonly referred to as the 50% fee cap. Many law firms charge the 50% fee cap.
- We do NOT charge a 50% fee cap but rather charge a lower fee cap meaning our clients receive more in their hand.
- Typically, our fee caps range from 30% to 40% depending on the complexity of the matter. The amount of our fee cap to be applied to your matter will be detailed in our Costs Agreement.
